Family-friendly Paris and London
I'm heading to Paris tomorrow. Last time I went was January and got some great suggestions on family-friendly activities, which I'll repost here. Then on to London, where the dollar is worth even less than last year. Any additions to the ones below - especially places to go without going broke?
- Seine boat tour
- France miniature
- Parc Asterix
- Disneyland
- Playmobil Fun Park
(thanks to former Forrester colleague Michelle Bouquet!)
- Le Bois de Boulogne (e.g. jardin d acclimatation)
- L'Entrecote
(thanks to Eric Kintz, HP!)

I enjoyed viewing Sainte-Chapelle during my visit - make sure you see the upper chapel (when you enter on the lower level you'll be wondering why I suggested it - you'll understand after you make your way up the stairs). Of course, this recommendation is made only if you dig Gothic architecture and stained glass...
Have fun!

In Paris the Tuileries is a good place to let kids let off steam - a lovely park right next to the Louvre which has a few carousels, trampolines etc dotted around plus a couple of cafes. They also have a huge Ferris wheel which gives great views of Paris - especially after dark
In London the London Eye is great too - plus the acquariam right next door - and the adjacent south bank has some good resteraunts that are good for kids - and some nice art galleries too.
have a great trip
