Wanted: Your tips on Istanbul

Mosque I should've posted this a while ago, but I've been crazy busy.

I'm heading out to Istanbul later today.  Have you even been?  I have once, but it was eight years ago.

Can you recommend the best places to eat, things to see, activities that must be done, etc.?

Your advice is appreciated!

Be careful. I had an attempted pick-pocketing by 3 guys at the bazaar. Really frigtening. First time I've ever really needed the martial arts I've studied. Otherwise a truly fascinating city. Enjoy.

here are some nice cafes in istanbul.

I would recommend you to have dinner at Maiden`s Tower (kiz kulesi). might cost little bit expensive but thats the only place in the world that you can eat exactly on the center of Europe and Asia, its little island on phosphorus.

you can also attend Istanbul movie festival, called IF Istanbul, great movies with English subtitles. web : http://www.ifistanbul.com/

Enjoy..
