Here’s a new example of an integrated (online/offline) social community: TribeWanted: Adventure Island. They’re creating a "virtual tribe" with a physical home on an island in Fiji, which will launch once the membership goal is reached. As of lunch time today, they’re looking for 4,963 more members to join (meaning $1 million minimum in total annual membership fees). Speaking of millions, Alex Tew from milliondollarhomepage.com is member #36.
Reality TV meets reality. Learn more at their myspace page. No word on if there’s proper wi-fi access in the village. As for me, I’ll wait until the Atlantic Ocean version launches, preferably one that JetBlue services.
