Busy news morning – here are some items that have caught my attention already:
- Jive Software and Dachis Group announce social business partnership. We’ll be working on initiatives over a multi-year period, which may include go-to-market product+service offerings. Given the deep base of Jive customers in the 2.0 Adoption Council, we already have a solid group of users in place who will benefit from this agreement.
- Enterprise 2.0 Conference kicks off in Boston. I like to think of this community as social business practitioners who have roots in the IT side of the house. My colleagues Dion Hinchcliffe, Susan Scrupski, Caroline Dangson, and Lee Bryant all have sessions this week.
- Stand-alone brand monitoring / listening platforms take another step towards extinction. Nielsen folds its Buzzmetrics unit into a JV with McKinsey. Not too long ago, Scout Labs joined forces with Lithium. Attensity acquired Biz360. Earlier, Alterian bought Techrigy, JD Power bought Umbria, TNS acquired Cymfony. Clearly, these technologies must be integrated with other forms of business intelligence to drive sCRM. There’s a company sitting at the very northeastern tip of North America that should be next to go…
- Eloqua shares its insight with The Content Grid. It’s a great way to think about corporate content marketing from communications ace Joe Chernov.
Ace! Ha, that made my day. Love it man! (PS: “Ace” was actually on the list of potential baby names, until of course, Amy pointed out that unless one is a guitarist in Kiss, it cannot be pulled off.) Thanks for mentioning The Content Grid. Hope your readers find value in it. -Joe
Peter –
So right on the “ace” part! Thanks for including The Content Grid.

Very interesting and exciting times in this space! Are you implying that Dachis is going to gel with all the great talent & tech @ R6? 😉
We’re always on the lookout for good talent and technology!
