I’m writing this note as more of a personal reminder than anything else.
Once every few months, I’ll run into difficulties with my Apple ID password on iTunes. I don’t do much on the site, but when I do I seem to always have to re-authenticate before proceeding. Sometimes this can be incredibly frustrating as I try combination after combination and usually get sent to an apple.com penalty box to recover a lost password.
It’s just that sometimes even after resetting, it still doesn’t work. iTunes just keeps asking for my password, over and over again, even after I’ve changed it and I KNOW FOR SURE that I am typing it correctly.
And sooner or later, I remember why.
